Status Update from the National Weather Service: An upgrade to the NWS weather.gov API was put into operations on 02/05/2020 at 16Z, which since going live, API has been experiencing severe reliability issues affecting all endpoints to include: alerts, forecast, observations, and point. https://www.weather.gov/documentation/services-web-api
What does this mean for InformaCast users: If you have configured InformaCast Advanced, Mobile, or Fusion to monitor the NWS CAP feed to trigger automated InformaCast notifications related to severe weather conditions in your area, they may not perform as intended. At this time, there is no more information available from the NWS as to when this issue will be resolved.
